It was exactly last year at this moment, that you rang and woke me up from my sleep. But I wasnt mentally prepared that this would be the last call from you.
You sounded very weak over the phone.. I was very panic and yet helpless. There were so many things I have yet to share with you. There were so many things I wished I could do, but I couldnt. I wished I could fly over immediately to New York to be with you. I wished you could be Mrs Ng. I wished and I wished... that miracles happened.
You asked me not to cry, because that would make you feel very sad. But I couldnt... but to weep. Didnt you know that when you first fell sick, I told myself be your pillar and be strong. We shared many laughters..but this was the first time we were crying together. The pain was unbearable.
You asked me if you could keep the ring with you.. and I said yes. It was given to you for so long, and was your source of strength. It was yours forever. And the last word from you was .."Baby, I love you..." and our call ended.
Shortly, you passed away in your sleep....
Though you had left me, you have changed my life. I will be a better man for you. You're always on my mind.

The special day of us
Hi Ellie,
Had you still been around.. today would have been our 1st year wedding anniversary.
Ever since we decided on this day for wedding, I was looking forward to this special day.
You had been the wedding planner for your cousins, and finally you had a chance to plan for your own wedding. You had been dreaming in having your perfect wedding since young. It was so closed and yet so far for your dream to come true.
First, you had spent more than US$30k on your wedding gown. I was speechless when you told that to me. I wish I have the chance to see you in the beautiful wedding gown. You would be the most gorgeous lady I would ever meet.
And to cater for all your ever growing VIP list, you had also booked for our wedding dinner at Grand Hyatt, a total of 60 tables. I wonder if I would get so stressed out on that night itself.
While you were planning for your wedding dinner, I was planning our honeymoon. I wanted a 3 months europe tour, but you said you cant take such a long leave.. and in the end, we settled for a 2 months tour. You were so greedy, and wanted to visit a total of more than 10 euro cities. It was a very tough job as we would be going on a free and easy package.
